A unique park with lots of space. There is a rock wall small enough for kids to enjoy, but challenging enough that I see professional rock climbers come with talcum powder and practice. There are some minor trails to explore. There is a railroad along it and trains to traverse very infrequently (can be cool to watch if you are into that). It is right next to the Interstate which means it is a bit noisy, but not bad with the trees by the Interstate.

Great place to play some disc golf. Also a nice place to play when you're little. My grandmother lived on top of the hill back in the '70s and we used to play there all the time. It is one of the best places in the area to recreate. Lots of available activities. Plenty of areas for picnicking. A nice area with a creek running through it accessible only there. Lots of wonderful trails to walk down up and down hills. All around a good time. Be careful with your dogs. Lots of hawks flying around.

The disc golf course at Highland Park is pretty nice. The UDisc app mapped it out perfectly and the traffic was pretty low. Good for beginners. Highly recommended!

Its a really nice park. With disc golfing, playground for the kiddos. Even a rock climbing wall. Beyond that beautiful area.

Highland Park is smack in the middle of downtown, like other city parks, it is a little Oasis off the Medical Mile. With trees & a creek, there are the most beautiful wild flowers, birds & walking paths. There is also a frisbee golf course there.
