This is definitely one of the best courses in Michigan. It Is very well maintained, and it follows the natural landscape of the land beautifully. But best of all, it's very challenging, which makes it an exciting course. The GPS system on the carts is very precise and helpful. The staff are very nice and are accommodating. I highly recommend you check it out! You won't be disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a wedding at this venue and I must say the property was stunning and very well maintained. The food was quite enjoyable though I did notice some inconsistency with the staff's demeanor. There was an older woman at the bar who seemed a bit disengaged, and I overheard the young woman who was supervising the bar making a few offhand remarks to guests that felt uncalled for. It was surprising given the otherwise lovely atmosphere. However the beautiful scenery was great for photos!

So this is the first review I’ve ever left, period. But that’s how nice this course was. I played on a Tuesday afternoon, it was completely wide open after a tournament i believe they had all morning. Now I play a lot of places of all ranges, across quite a few cities and states. I also have played very exclusive country clubs. This place is stunning. I was absolutely taken aback given the $95 price tag. It’s the only time I’ve played so i can’t speak to different shape during other times of year. But the fairways and greens were immaculate, right up there with places I’ve played in the $150-$200 range This day and age to get that experience, for that cost, please don’t ever change Bucks Run. There’s a ton of $100 goat trails out there, it was wonderful to play at your course

I flew in from California earlier this month to attend a friend's wedding here. The venue was very pretty. The food was another highlight. The woman who was managing the bar could have been much more friendly though. I witnessed her speaking rather harshly to a few guests, and my friend received a particularly rude comment that shocked me. While the location and food were commendable, the lack of warmth and respect from the staff was disappointing. If you're considering this venue for a wedding, I would recommend looking elsewhere if you want your guests to feel valued and welcomed.

Hosting my daughter’s wedding at Buck’s Run was an extraordinary experience. The highlight was undoubtedly the exceptional service provided by our wedding coordinator, Lisa. From our very first tour through the tasting process and all the way to the wedding day, Lisa was with us every step of the way. Having a consistent point of contact was invaluable, and Lisa went above and beyond by being incredibly responsive and helpful in organizing key details like menu selections, the floor plan, and vendor logistics. Our family had the pleasure of staying in the stunning, brand-new onsite cottages. These accommodations offered breathtaking views of the course and water, complete with a spacious patio and a cozy fireplace. The cottages, with four bedrooms and space for 16 guests, were perfect for our group. The groomsmen enjoyed having a dedicated space to relax and prepare for the big day, while the bridal party made use of the luxurious VIP suite. Having such a convenient and comfortable place to unwind after the festivities was an absolute bonus! On the wedding day, the service staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly patient (truly, haha!). They exceeded all our expectations. The bridal suite easily accommodated 11 ladies getting ready, with plenty of room to spare. The ceremony took place by the water, with a stunning view that added to the magic of the day. As an unexpected but memorable touch, a giant eagle soared overhead during the vows—a moment we’ll never forget. The staff took care of setting up all the outdoor chairs, leaving us free to add our personal decorative touches. The picturesque setting provided the perfect backdrop for our photos, including beautiful sunset shots. Afterward, we moved indoors, where we had full access to the venue to capture more memories and celebrate the night away. Choosing Buck’s Run was hands down the best decision we could have made for the wedding. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully plated, and our guests have raved about it ever since. Chef Ben, Brein and their crew did an amazing job. My husband and I are already planning to return for the Friday night fish dinner and prime rib at the Quarry Grill. Of course, the venue itself is stunning—the elegant gated entrance sets the tone for what’s to come—but it’s the combination of the exceptional service, outstanding accommodations, and impeccable details that made my daughter’s wedding a truly unforgettable and premium experience.
