We love this park for taking a walk and doing bird watching. The wide, well-maintained trails go along the river, through woods, and next to swampy areas. With that variety, there are quite a few birds and lots of spring, summer, and fall flowers. We can walk 2.25 miles on the outer loop and rarely meet anyone (I know, I shouldn't write this review :-). Occasionally we come near people playing frisbee golf in the center section, but not often and it is never a problem.

Madeline Bertrand is a very well maintained park. If you're looking for entry level hiking on well pruned trails, or beginner disc golf on a well kept course, this is the place to go. Wildlife is somewhat scarce due to the busy nature of the park, but you'll see plenty of interesting bugs by the river.

Beautiful park that has compacted trails. 3 trails to choose from. We took the longest route which was 2.3 miles. They all loop. It was beautiful day to get out and walk.

A beautiful park. The disc golf course is wonderful. It doesn't have the longest holes, but the shots are fun.
