Lovely space for birthdays using the pavilion rental. The kids absolutely loved the train rides! The pavilion space offered a shaded atmosphere for a pizza party even during an extremely hot summer day. It’s great that there’s restrooms. I recommend! The parking lot was full, but it was easy to find parking in an adjacent residential street.

Our kiddo and I are on an adventure to check out all of the parks in Royal Oak. This is one we've been frequenting as it checks all the boxes. There are two playgrounds, which are shaded. Our toddler is able to play on both playgrounds, one of them is more challenging, for ages 5-12. With some help our kiddo is able to traverse and climb the more difficult playground. One playground has a sandbox. There are 3 restrooms at this park, one is handicap. There are 3 covered Pavillion with plenty of picnic tables. There are benches located around the playground. There is a designated parking lot. There is a disc golf course throughout the park, which is shaded and serene. The trees provide plenty of shade for a walk, a picnic or to play disc golf on sunny days. This is one of the best parks that Royal Oak has to offer. It can get busy, we are lucky to go during earlier mornings or mid-days when there are only a handful of kids. There is no Little Free Library.

We met my daughter & her husband there. We brought my grandson, to ride the train thru the park the last ride of the season. It’s a great play ground large area & was very much enjoyed by my grandson. Nice they have restrooms there. I wish we had parks like this in Commerce.

Reserved one of the pavilions for the day for a work event. The pavilion was surprisingly clean, didn't have any spiderwebs. The park was really nice as well. The playground has a lot to do for kids, and some coworkers said the disc golf course was good

Great park for beginner and intermediate disc golfers alike. I always try to play a round here while I’m in the area. There’s a play scape for the little ones and the last time I visited they were building stages for plays in the park. There’s a tiny train they run I believe on Sundays.
