It was a fun experience and not many places to loose you disc. If you do, it is easily recoverable. The course needs some tending to but overall a good place to go and develop some skills. It can get confusing on which basket to throw to your fist go around, so I suggest walking the course beforehand.

We went for the playground, actually. It has two play structures geared to different ages, which often means there's not enough there to keep anyone's attention and what is there is boring. In this case the pieces are well chosen for variety and challenge and made for a fair amount of climbing and jumping by energetic kids, ages 3 and 6. The days we have visited were fairly wet, so some of the climbing surfaces were too slippery to move at full speed. With the river nearby, I set the ring of trees as our boundary visual as the playground equipment is so closely set there is hardly room to maneuver other than on and off the equipment, and my kids often just need to run. More space between various pieces of equipment would have earned 5 stars, but so far it is still a gem.

For a compact park it has a lot going on. The Sprout farmers market and kitchen is located here. There's a full play ground with a swinging bench nearby. There's a little stream, some forest, and a big open field by the playground. This is also a popular disk golf course. The area is very open with typically low traffic. Even on busy days it's a manageable location and easy to keep an eye on your kids, sit in the shade, or walk by the stream.

There are some water hazards on this course but most areas are only a few inches deep. The biggest worry I had was throwing over public roads to reach the baskets on certain holes. Over all it was a good experience.
