Love this course. Several years back my family lived in summit oaks and when we walked my dog through the woods, it would intersect with the last hole. When my dog died, I brought his ashes back to Minnesota and put them down in the water behind the last hole so i can visit him at least once a month, usually every weekend. It's a very fun course, great for a decent hike and some challenging holes with few places to lose a disc. Highly recommend. This is one of the top courses south of the cities imo

This is a solid five star course. The terrain is varied in height with uphill and downhill shots, as well as some level fairway drives. Holes 1-7 are mostly open fields with some trees scattered throughout. Holes 8-12 are nestled in the woods, with hole number 8 getting my vote as most likely to lose a disc. Many of the holes are relatively short, and with a number of par 4 holes on the course, anyone who plays regularly can anticipate some birdies in the course. The tees are varied in style with some being smaller concrete slabs(2 steps max), some asphalt, and some as dirt/gravel. Each tee has a sign showing where the basket is located, the distance to the basket, and the number of strokes for par. Some sign posts exist to guide you to the next basket, but it is pretty obvious where to go from each basket to get to the next tee. The area is in a low lying region and while there are some swamps and marshland in the park, none of these stand as water hazards on any of the holes. It does however make for a nice nature walk going from hole to hole. After a heavy rain there may be some standing water and slippery areas, but none of these interfered with my play through the course. There is signage indicating that holes 4 and 5 are closed during the winter due to the grade of the hill that they are on.

This was the first disc golf course I’ve been to in years. It was a good time, from the start to the end, starting with the optional water bottles remotely being sold from a cooler for one dollar and the ability to pay using Venmo. It’s not a bad course for novice, disc golfers, and can challenge more experienced disc golfers as well. The really big downside was that I brushed up with poison ivy or poison oak. It also got on my disk and spread to my inner forearm. I wasn’t looking out for poisonous leaves, but now you know you should here.

What a lovely park to spend the day Disc golfing. Plenty of shade, dog friendly, lake views, practice baskets, and a playground for the kids to enjoy. A great park for all ages and skill levels. The incline of the last hole challenges you and you can’t help but celebrate as you make your way to a par and birdie. Everyone I’ve met is nice and helpful, and I’ve had many help me find a miss-thrown disc. Bring water, a snack, and enjoy the day!!

A nice and free 12 hole course. Good to have the course on your phone because some of the tees could be harder to find. Last four holes are in the woods so watch where your disc goes.
