Very woody and technical. First few baskets were hard to see blending with the background. Future development looks promising.

This is a naturally wooded beautiful course for Frisbee Golf or just a stroll through the woods. It seems to still be in a constant state of improvement, but aren't we all?

I would say within the entire Duluth area, this is probably the most technically challenging disc golf course. This is also one of the most fun courses. Some of the holes are long, but often that is not the main challenge. There are many curves created by the landscape of trees, with some "mando" trees also inserted to make navigating to the basket difficult. This is a great place to put your skills to the test over the 18 holes that it has. Additionally, it is very pretty to hike through these woods - might be smart to bring bug spray, though.

Don't wear slip on shoes, alot of roots, bring bug spray.

Carlton Disc Golf Sanctuary is a fantastic 18 hole course with a lot of variety. You'll find yourself using more of your bag than at a lot of courses. A fully wooded and technical course that is still being shaped and completed.
