Awesome trails, beautiful woods, Pond is a bit icky, but still nice. playground is huge. Great for kids big zip line there too! Only downside is the fishing pier, and one of the parking lots needs an update/renovation pretty bad. Still a great awesome place to go to though!

I looked up "fishing pier near me" and Bassett Creek popped up, BUT DO NOT FISH THERE. The water is so polluted and is not suitable for fishing and the dock/ Pier that you walk out onto is broken in several places I took a few steps onto it and it is broken in at least a dozen different spots where there's some haphazard bandages trying to hold it together but which is one person on it the whole thing started coming apart and there's no sign warning you or anything so I would advise everybody not to go fishing there but as far as a frisbee golf place to go to it seems excellent and there were leagues playing there at the time and it seems like a nice picnic area and walking trail I just definitely would not fish there

Huge play area for the kids. Dog park at the first entrance. Always well manicured. Only Porta potties on site. Huge Frisbee golf course. Lots of room to do whatever you want. Good abundance of trees and foliage with some water nearby makes a good day out at the park. Some sheltered area for picnic

Disc golf course not mowed nearly as much as it used to be. Be mindful of ticks as they will give you Lyme's Disease. Not a fun time, triple check yourself and others.

The new 18-hole disc golf configuration is top notch for a free course, and the new prairie plantings turned out great. Could benefit from some more trash cans on the course, but that's a pretty regular issue.
