The lake is relatively scenic, but most of the walking trail doesn't give many views. The paved trail has some shade, which is nice. Unfortunately the section in the north part of the park is closed indefinitely due to flood damage. The dirt trail in the woods is narrow and overgrown, looks like it would be tick heaven.

Beautiful park disc golf course was good.. only negative I have is they needed to mow the grass.... took forever to find discs.

Lots of fun, technical in parts due to trees, couple of long open holes. Before arriving thought the water hazard would be more of a problem than it was. As long as you don’t griplock one off into the water it’s fine.

Fishing was slow, but I did spot some big carp. They just did not like I was tossing.

So this is a small park next to the Meremac River with a large, open play field, a picnic shelter (possibly more), a walking path that’s part of the Great Rivers Greenway system and a small lake. We enjoyed taking are dogs to run leash-free along the lake. There’s a dirt walking path you can walk down to watch to ensure the dog’s safety. There’s also a large berm between the water and the road, so you don’t have to worry about traffic.
