I can't give this a five star because of the poor layout. Hole 12 ends right at the end of hole 13. So 400 foot walk down and back. Then you have the worst course design ever problem. Hole 17 and 18 run parallel to each other. Hole 18 tee is right next to hole 16 basket. Hole 17th tee right next 16 tee. This course had 27 holes now reduced to 18 holes. So the space is there to make it flow better. Hopefully someone fixes these problems, because this course has the potential to be a five star.

Great course, lots of walking but pretty flat for the most part.

I travel around the Midwest states for work and rely on these reviews to find good courses in unfamiliar cities. This was a great course that was well maintained. I loved the 3 tee boxes depending on your experience level. The only recommendation I have is to take a picture of the large course map near the parking lot. The baskets have arrows to point to the next tee box but I found them to me moved and unreliable. Had no problem using the map for a 1st timer. It is a longer course like some reviewers say. I tracked about 2.6 miles when most courses are probably around 2. Highly recommended this course and I will be back!!!

Since I posted this review the park has updated their cages and expanded their walk paths. Some of the holes are laid out in a nonflued or illogical manner. No matter, it is still a very fun course to play and nice people to meet. Nice park, kids love the playground. Some of the Golf Tees did not have maps and none of the cages were set-up. Area is mowed well and has a nice sidewalk going through the entire park. Pedestrians pose as a great obstacle. Looking forward to the next visit.

This course used to be 27 baskets, but now it's only 18. Find the basket before you throw, 3 baskets in each of the 9's have been pulled out to turn it into 18 holes. Start north of the parking lot, play North until you hit Superior, cross the river, then play east, and back south. Many of the tee posts have been cut or pulled out. Open course with lots of room is very good for beginners, with minimal hazards. Fun, casual course that has holes spanning ~150 to ~300 feet.
