I have been going here on a nearly weekly basis since I was only 8 years old. Don't let the size of the lake fool you, there are some VERY large fish in here. The water level is high this year, which has made most of the shoreline difficult to access without a boat. There is a pathway that goes all the way around the lake and there are benches every so often if you need to rest or just want to look out at the water and there is an 18 hole disc golf course here as well. There is also a playground area and a sheltered area if you want to sit down and have something to eat.

Walked around the trail took about 30 minutes that's because I'm pregnant and just walked around instead of jogging but the place is kept very nice and clean they also have porta potties and a dock area you can see some fishes in the lake. They also have playgrounds.

Nice walking trail around the lake, very pretty view, bathroom available, picnic tables and play area for kids, they also have a building for events. First time there and enjoy it and will be back before I leave Nebraska!

They have built this park and lake up very well over the years. We used to fish here when we were kids, and it was a roughed out pond in a rough park. They appear to have established a great family atmosphere and will be fishing this more. We caught water in abundance this day we went, but we will be back during morning or evening time to see the bass bite. They say there are northern in here as well, but don't know the lake enough yet to find em.
