It's a beautiful park. However lots of people think it's ok to walk their big giant dogs off leash. Makes it hard to walk little dogs and actually enjoy the park when you always have to dodge the unresponsive dog owners who disregard the leash rule. I don't care how friendly you say your dogs are. Dogs belong on a leash when waking in public parks.

Most beautiful views of redrock. Splash pad was decent could use some updating and playground was fun . A few parked cars but there's a police officer who drove by every few minutes

My boys absolutely love this park. And it’s so close to home. It’s such a nice big, clean, park and i love that the playgrounds are gated. That way when you have more than one wild child like me you can relax in knowing they are “locked in” lol

Disc golf? What's that? I went to Red Ridge Park to walk the one-mile path around the park's perimeter and was fascinated watching excited teams playing a competitive sport with frisbees. They were trying to get their discs into these baskets. Welcome to disc golf! The park has a nine-hole course. Two holes are over 500 feet! The course features flat and fairly long fairways. The tees are concrete. It's clearly beginner friendly. Red Ridge Park is a wonderful place for kids in the August Las Vegas heat because it's got a really large splash pad. There are also two Little League baseball fields with grass infields. Adults can play full-court basketball, even at night, because the court is lighted. The park was built in 2009 so it doesn't have some of the snazzy features that newer parks like Mountain's Edge does. But the locals love it. They bring blankets and have picnic spreads under the canopy of the big trees. I've even seen people bring their computers and work on the picnic tables during the covid-19 lockdowns. Yoga mats with yogis doing down dogs are common. Lots of folks walk their dogs there. Houses surround the park on all four sides, so it is a neighborhood treasure.
