Beautiful state park right on the water. The park has a small entrance fee, but if you’re there for the day it is more than worth it. There are several different beach areas and today we had it almost to ourselves, with very few people on the beach. On the east side of the park are cottages for rent but we did not see inside them so have no clue on the condition of the cabins. To the north end of the park, is a heavily wooded campground area, but we did not go inside there today. The park is quite large with many different camping, picnic and beach areas for someone to choose from as well as a boat launch area. It was a great day today to enjoy this peaceful park away from the noise of the city. We even saw this baby osprey, who was screaming at the top of her lungs for her mom and dad to come feed her.

Quiet, small beach near playground, bathroom & close parking ($10 access fee unless you get $80 Empire Pass, which gives you unlimited entry and parking to all NY State parks). The swimming areas are a bit limited, but the set up of the beach makes it great for watching children - great sand for building. There's also park trails, etc. and all the typical state park amenities.

i only took a star off bc of the $10 fee to enter into the park 🤦‍♂️ other than that, it’s actually a very beautiful park with bike trails, many parking lots, lots of grass for your animals, different playground sets around the state park, along with great views, and even the occasional deer, if in the correct location. along the bike trails are different workout excercises, which are really cool

An amazing park for family and friends. Has fields for play and if you lucky can see wild animals like deer. Nice place for party.
