My boys love this park! They get to wander the trails and then enjoy the playground at the end. Great place to spend an afternoon!

Walked at Apex Nature Park today. Overall, it’s a beautiful park with some cool things, like tennis courts, soccer field, picket-ball courts, playground. Lots of disc players, so there are signs posted to be aware of flying discs when walking towards the playground from the upper parking lot. We walked on Pine Loop which is only 0.6 miles, and it has some shaded areas and some open areas along the trail. You are also able to access Holly Trail (0.7 miles) from Pine Loop. Pine Loop begins by the soccer field. Holly Trail exits at the upper parking lot, closest to the dog park. The park is dog-friendly. We went today, after a whole day of rain yesterday, and many spots on Pine Loop were flooded. I don’t recommend going after a rainy day if you are planning to explore the trails. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful park!

We came here for the first time to attend a child's birthday party. There were sports going on at the same time and parking was extremely sparse. Past the parking shortage, this was a pretty nice setup. The bathrooms were clean, the picnic area was spacious and shaded, there was a variety of play equipment, and you could keep a decent view of the playground from there.

This park is absurdly beautiful and the tennis courts in very good condition. Unfortunately a lot of private tennis instructors teach here in the evening, which makes it difficult to find available courts. Yesterday, a student was late and the instructor did not clear the court even when the student was not present - considering that 3 other private coaches were using the other courts, there was no where to play! Apex should develop a tennis court for residents only or implement an hour max court time if there is a line. The private instructors had classes back to back.

Gorgeous park with a super creative playground and a very nice disc golf course on the property. It always amazes me how pretty and well-landscaped the Cary/Apex parks are! Just simply beautiful. This park and playground are well worth your time to go and visit! 😁👍👍 It’s so cool how the theme of the playground is a treehouse. That massive rock climbing structure they have is stinkin awesome as well!
