Sandhill disc golf course was brought down from 18 holes to 14 holes due to replacing current soccer fields with updated ones. The holes that are available are great. I play one then walk up to hole 8. I play hole eight through 18. Then walk up to hole 14. Play 14. Play 15 to 16's basket for a par-4. And then 17 through hole one to finish up an 18 hole round. I miss the old course but this one will work for now.

Holes 2, 3, and 5 have no baskets. 6 and 14 it looks like the tees are gone, but the map on U Disc looks right and the baskets are there. Thought this was a really fun course, especially if you're not trying to rip your arm off with long drives. Mostly sub 300 foot par 3 holes, and most after 6 are at least partially wooded, but not too bad as far as places to lose your disc.

Very disappointing. Holes 2,3,4 5 and 6 have been eliminated. Most of the other holes are on the side of a steep hill in the woods. Lots of poison ivy. Signage is poor. 3 miles from my house but I won't be back. Reflects the generally pathetic quality of Buncombe County recreational facilities.

Love this course! Check the WNC Disc Golf group for info about league at Sandhill every other Sunday at 2:00 PM for a full course layout with original holes and some temp baskets!

Great course, mostly wooded some ups and downs, lots of shot shapes, shorter holes in general only a few over 300’ should get even better when the holes that are closed (2-6) get opened again.
