This is in regards to McFayden Pond. Supposed to be for youth (16 and under) only fishing. With the park and restrooms, this has the potential to be a great place to take a kid fishing. However the "pond" is nothing but weeds with water running through it. Absolutely impossible to fish. How about some maintenance work Fort Liberty??

I took my grandchildren here for a little play time they loved it! So many things for them to play and climb on for me it was clean and I loved the water with the ducks swimming by, my only problem it's not a dog park and some people just can't follow the rules and brought their dog. But other then that we had a good time.

We love this park! We go often. It's my son's favorite park and I believe it would be a great place for pictures.

I ran 2.50 miles going by this park. At first I thought there was a trail, but thats erroneous. I assumed too fast. But luckily, at the far left side, there is a path, very small, that leads to the main sidewalk which will take you all the way down as far was you want. I turned around at 1.30 miles and back to my visitors barracks. I noticed there's restrooms, and a footing to get near the pond at that location. So that's good 👍 I saw a snake 🐍 that day, gave me a jump. Funny what you see on runs. The world is slower. Please go for a run sometime. But for me, it was just a passing attraction site, not much to see really. But it's better than nothing.

The park has a two playgrounds and a youth fishing dock. My daughters really enjoyed the 5-12 year old playground.
