This is one of the best parks around. Kids of all ages will enjoy it here. So many things to do! The playground is exceptional. The walking trails are great. The dock and flowers are beautiful. Plenty of benches and picnic tables. One of the most beautiful Veteran Memorials I've ever seen. You've got to visit Rob Wallace Park!

Pretty, massive, green: That’s how you can sum up this park. Some downsides are, there aren’t any athletic fields/courts.

Very cute park with a little pond & geese to feed. Good size playground and another Montessori style one with sand in the woods, which is perfect on a hot day. A path that goes around the entire park & through the woods - perfect for strolling/riding/hiking. Beautiful golf course & reservoir. There are also grills and a pavilion for parties/events.

Let me start with it is very pretty and clean. Now to what bugged me. The back lake looks beautiful if you could get to it. My husband and I try to take my parents somewhere different every Sunday to do something other than Dr appointments. Sadly most of the park is unaccessible to the handicapped. My parents are in wheelchairs and the paths are to rough with slate rocks.. The park looks like it has a very nice veterans memorial but again I could not get my parents to it. And yes my Dad served and would have enjoyed seeing it. If the park is ever made truly handicap accessible it will be a great place to go. Oh one other thing we had a picnic under the shelter. Nice view to the front pond. But bring a fly swatter with you The flies about carried my Ma away. She had about 20 flies bugging her.I ended up standing and shewing flies for her so she could eat her food.!

Wonderful park! Toddlers to seniors, there is something for everyone. Enjoy wooded trails and wide open spaces, 2 lakes, a playground, and even a frisbee golf course. The farthest of the 3 parking lots provides fairly easy access to the quarry for fishing. Cabarrus has a fabulous park system, but this is my favorite!
