Just a short distance from I-77, this dog park was a great stop to let our Aussie-Doddle run free after being stuck in the car for 12 hours with only short breaks. Beautiful facility with two VERY large fenced in dog runs. Areas of open grass and some wooded, natural spaces. Highly recommend!

We had a great day at the park. It's very close to the house and it's the first time we went disc golfing as a whole family. We were hoping it would be easy to get a stroller up and down through the course, although expecting it wouldn't, honestly it wasn't. If you have a good off-road stroller you should be fine. He wasn't in it the whole time so it made it a lot easier to drag it up and down. The park itself is beautiful. It offers baseball and softball fields, tennis courts that look brand new, a dog park, and an agility training area sponsored by the local K-9 police. The only thing that could improve it is the signage for the disc golf course. It's very difficult to figure out which trail leads to the next hole. We spent most of our time lost but the course was fun. We will definitely be back. There's a great black top path around most of the whole park, just not in the woods.

Very pretty and well maintained park. There are a few different volleyball courts, which is nice, as well as baseball and soccer fields. The dog park area is a nice new addition. It doesn’t interfere with the walking trail near it. It’s nice how the concession stand is i open for like baseball game days. I added a photo of a friend and I picnicking near the dog park in one of the fields

We played out 10u baseball games here Saturday in June 2023. Nice facility, concessions & bathrooms little far from the baseball action but all in all not bad for a young park. They should look to install shade canopies in the center areas of the baseball fields and the fan zones this would help with shade and foul ball hazards, at least until the trees grow in. better.

What an awesome outdoor space!! Found using a quick Google Maps search for “park” — reviews and photos from others looked nice, but definitely didn’t do the space justice. The “Officer Jordan H. Sheldon Memorial Dog Park” is absolutely beautiful (photos included with this review). Wide open space with sections for “little/timid dogs” and “large dogs” plus there’s an agility section. There are paved paths throughout the space and some blazed by foot, too. The playground offers a lot of activity options, too. If you’re in the area and need to stretch your legs, this is a great spot.
