This park is a bit of a drive from where I live, but I don’t mind the drive because I love it so much. The playground is completely shaded by large trees, which is a must in North Carolina in the summer if you want to take your kids to the park during the day. We love the little creek, it’s shallow and has sand in the bottom, perfect for kids to play in. There’s plenty of parking, and this park is nice and clean. There are several huge fields where you can play different things like volleyball etc.

Amazing park! Hate I didn't visit sooner. Not very busy, 3 older playgrounds, mulch lot, and completely in the shade! So much better than most Cabarrus parks where the playgrounds are crowded and in direct sunlight. Nice amount of walking trails to keep all busy, small creek and sandy beach if they like to splash. Volley ball beach. Outdoor auditorium, multiple shelters/ picnic areas. Tons of open land to roam and run. Bathroom open through the day Will definitely return for some fresh air.

One of our prettiest parks. Excellent walking paths paved and unpaved. Disc golf course is tight and fun. Nice creek. Love the area with labled trees, great place for photography

This park is a little gem. I think it's finest quality is it's cleanliness as so few people go to this park. It has good facilities and is just the right size for a Saturday afternoon. There's great photo potential the playground is modern and well kept. There's plenty of parking. The mill is a pretty cool site but it does get old after the first couple of visits. There's disc golf and a large field for any kind of activities.
