Big park with fantastic playground with something for everyone. The whole playground is full of wide ramps. There are regular sit on swings, handicap swings, swings for parents to hold baby, and baby swings. There is a lower playset suitable for smaller children and a bigger one for older kids. There is also a separate play area with climbing stuff. Some of it is broken or doesn’t quite function right but most of it is good. At the front of the park is a large shaded splash pad. There are also baseball fields and horse shoes. There were restrooms throughout the park but I didn’t use them. There are also walking trails throughout the park.

Nevin park is beautiful but the disc gold course was a hike that I was unprepared to walk twice for the DGPT Championships. I had a blast but I was exhausted!

This park was just okay... It looks great, but since there are no trees or shade; it's a HOT place to be on a sunny day. The kids loved it and they said the slides weren't too hot. But as a parent, there was absolutely no shade whatsoever, which of course, didn't allow for us to stay very long. There is a shelter with bathrooms and picnic tables under the shelter. It definitely could use a new coat of paint, maybe a power washing and some new picnic tables. It seems a little crummy.

Nevin’s is a fun no planning required park, with a sprayground. The spraygound is an older model but the diversity and atmosphere is unmatched. Bring a towel, a lawn chair, and cool down with the kiddos

Really liked this complex for softball/baseball tournaments. 4 fields back to back with nice spacing in between and two built-in concrete bleachers to sit or place your chair on at each field. Rounded fencing for fly balls which makes them bullets for catchers as they come down. There is no outfield sideline fencing, which posed problems in several games we watched on over throws. It would be nice if there was temporary fencing installed. Shade can be found only in grassy areas near entrance, which are great areas for in between games. Bathrooms are average ballfield bathrooms, 3 stalls for women, driers only. Concessions were provided by a catering company, so it could be dependent on their availability. Descent parking
