This park has a great disc golf course and my rating is based mainly on that feature. It's a nice scenic course with hills and trees, but thankfully not set up to be over-the-top challenging like some where you're afraid you'll lose your disc on every hole. Different starting tees make it good for different level players to play. I love that the course was clearly marked and easy to follow be too.

Course was all shade covered so doable even in high temp and humidity. 3 “tee boxes” for different skill levels for most all of 22 holes. Hole 13 takes you close to bathrooms at the turn. Fun group sport and family game for a couple hour hike through the woods.

Great disc golf course. Not crowded at all on a Sunday afternoon in January.

The parking was ample and provided some shade. You cross a small street to get to the park. That's OK, its not a thoroughfare and can be used for 'stop, look and listen' practice. Lots of open space on playground. It was very clean. The equipment is in very good condition. My 18m old had a great time. To use slides at this age, we used an adult lap to escort down the slides. Would say it's built for 4 years olds and up. But, we still had a great time. Thanks Durham Parks and Rec!

This is one of our favorite disc golf courses. It not only drains really well after a rain, but is technically difficult and has a lot of elevation changes. Plus it's got a lot of great wildlife and vegetation!
