I enjoy paint creek state park we camp here often in our rv. This last time we had to move spots because our campsite was traveling ground to and from the playground. They would walk through as soon as the sun came up.

While this state park has some unique overlooks and scenery, on a whole it's about average compared to others. There's lots of hiking opportunities, but the trails aren't the best. This state park seems to be more geared for fishing and boating than anything else. Some of the trails were over-grown with vegetation and had scores of spider webs strewn across the path, so they clearly haven't been in much use, which can be a good way to get away from crowds. Well, other than the crowds of spiders on the yellow trail system.

Lots are hilly and narrow, but everything else is just fine. Marked a few next time lots and will stick to them.

It was a pretty place I didn't really get too much of a chance to check it out, but they have $60 cabins there, so I'm definitely going to check it out some time this summer. The staff at the nature center, specifically Angie, was extremely helpful and definitely helped to point me in the right direction

Had been over 30yrs since I was on Paint Creek. A beautiful lake in a beautiful area. Fishing wasn't great, but the turkeys were gobbling!
