This is one of the most beautiful courses in the Greater Cincinnati area. The staff is friendly and helpful. The course is maintained in excellent condition. I think you will enjoy your time on Elks Run.

For a public golf courses this place is pretty sweet, great layout!!! There's room on most holes off the tee but it really comes down to pin placements and approach shots.... Played mid May and the whole course was in good shape, bunkers were premo also!! Some good elevation changes so you'll want to pay attention when judging yardages, the creek that runs throughout the course lined both sides with the rock is a nice touch!! Yes I strongly suggest playing here and I can't wait to come back

The course was layed out well with some really beautiful holes. Water hazards and strategically placed bunkers make a lot of shots testy. I would have given this 5 stars if not for the fact the greens where not in the best shape. All in all, a great experience and well worth the higher than average price.

Elks Run is an incredibly fun course with a fun mixture and hard and easy holes. The course is well maintained and the greens are very good. However, for as fun and exciting this course may be, expect to be on the course for 6+ hours. I hesitated to review the course early in hopes that I caught the course at a busy time, but that however this not the case. Elks Run is consistently slow. This is not a cheap course to play either. I don’t mind paying expensive fees to play at a good course (which this is). But with the pace of play, it makes the course borderline unbearable. PROS: -Well maintained course -Friendly staff -exciting course design CONS: -Price -Pace of play In conclusion, if you are looking for an exciting course that offers unique challenges and don’t mind staying 6 hours on the course, this course is for you. I will be back to play in the future, in hopes one day pace of play will improve.

Beautiful course with scenic views thanks to elevation changes, abundant water, and lots of trees. The clubhouse is also pleasant - friendly staff, great beer selection, nice TVs, good bathrooms, plenty of space. Unfortunately, our experience could have been better - we weren’t informed of the 15 minute detour due to construction, and the greens were being aerated during play on the last nice Sunday of the year. I get that it’s tough to predict weather and things need to be done for the sake of the course but still. The course needs some work on the tee-boxes, fairways, and greens - but it’s the end of the year so I’ll give benefit of the doubt. Overall, it is a fun course that I would play again.
