Sometimes big groups and leagues playing through but folks are pleasant and the big groups tend to play closest to the pin style, so it goes fast. No really challenging holes and pretty short but fun and totally possible for newish players to shoot par. Lots of birdie opportunities. You can expect to get through a round of 16 holes - yes, the original 1 and 18 are gone - in under an hour.

My son and I had a great time here. We could not find the first hole. There are 18 total holes that were plenty challenging for us.

Great course overall, but the teepads could use some work around the edges. On hole 4, I slipped off a spot with a slight drop-off and took a hard fall—like a cartoon, with my legs flying up and my back crunching on the corner. Shot -1 for the round, but it wasn’t worth the road rash! Update (a year later): The drop-off is real, but I’ve got to own my poor footwork. This round still haunts me! I unfairly blamed the teepad when my own steps were the culprit—I have brought shame to the Maher family name...

This course is as good as gone with the new outpatient hospital and the Innovation District moving full speed ahead. I could see there being about 9 holes left, if we're lucky... Also, I take for granted that I can ride my bike here. Pretty sure there's no free parking on West Campus...or if there is it's along # 9-12 on the Western edges of the course near the State of Ohio Computer Center. Nov 2021 update - I learned OSU has plans to replace the holes lost to hospital and West Campus construction. Not sure how long that will be, but good news.

Great course with several technical shots. Cement tee pads. Nice baskets. It's the only course I know of in Columbus that you can play at night. Most of the course is fairly lit from the road and parking lot lights. It's also laid out so that you can do a short 6 hole loop (2, 3, 4, 15, 16, 17). One drawback is that you have to pay to park, but you can park right next to the 1st or 2nd tee (or next to many other tees as well). One other slight drawback is that the course is close to roads and walking paths, so you have to be careful of cars and pedestrians.
