This is the best park with something for everyone. Paved walking paths, woodland hiking trails, fishing ponds, pickleball courts, shelters, restrooms, playgrounds, historic schoolhouse, cemetery and barn. A store barn where local breads, meat, cheese and other seasonal items can be purchased. The City of Green has done an outstanding job developing this park.

Southgate and Boetler offer anything you could want. There's 2 super nice fenced-in playgrounds, a well kept bathroom at Boetler and Portapots in Southgate, 2 pavilions, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball, pickle ball, soccer fields, beautiful paved trails through conservation areas. Other trails are natural terrain through woods and fields. There are horse trails as well. There's a farm that offers it's crops. There's at least 4 ponds, streams snake around all over. Bikes are welcome. Dogs are now welcome in both parks. I'm the spring and summer you'll enjoy sweet smelling flowers beautiful blooms. In just 15 minutes you'll hear a choir of over 15 birds! There is nothing you can't find between the two parks! Except swimming. Lol

This park is AWESOME!! It has 2 separate playgrounds for older and younger kids. The pkayground for toddlers has a fence with gate all the way around enclosing it for safety. It also has a soft mat type ground. There are 2 ziplines, a "rock"-climbing wall, lots of picnic and bench areas, couple of pavilion picnic areas for parties or family gatherings, tennis courts, baseball fields, soccer field, disc golf, walking trails and paths. Bathrooms have always been clean on my visits and plenty of parking.
