Astorhurst picnic area used to be a country club. The Cleveland Metroparks has since reopened the area. Nice little hiking areas around the old golf course, just under 4 miles. Flowers and grass have taken over the area. The concrete pathway has not been taken care of and it's pretty much deteriorated. Not many people know about this place, it is pretty quiet. They have completed the disc golf course. There is a kiosk at the top of the hill featuring the course holes. There is also a small parking lot off of Dunham Road for the Disc Golf Course

Such a Cleveland Metro Park gem. It's a golf course being restored to its natural state. Right now, we see lots of amazing native birds - scarlet Tanager, blue birds, red wing black birds, herons, etc. Baby geese abound. Fishing is great in the first pond only. Lots of walking trails and wildflowers. Such a peaceful place. Come enjoy.

Beautiful park - trails are clear and easy to follow. Not many people know about this place so it is very quiet/peaceful. It can get hilly so make sure you're prepared! Unfortunately port-o-johns are not maintained so make sure to use the restroom before you go! 🧻
