Great course! Short distances to the baskets, perfect for beginners (like me lol) and some great doglegs and trees for advanced players. Clean and well kept, a definite must-play.

Nestled right behind the Mitch Park YMCA is this fairly challenging disc golf course. This is also a nice course with several shaded paths leading from one basket to another. Some paths tend to collect water after a rainfall, which can add some "watery" obstacles to the game. There are a couple of holes right on the edge of the main road and running trail. Therefore be careful to make sure your disc don't hit a vehicle or pedestrian. The proximity to the road gives player a nice challenge too. Most of the baskets are out of sight from the launching platform and so it will help if you are with experienced player who knows the general direction of the final destination. You should leverage some tree-love if you get good at the game as the tree trunks can be your friend in some denser section of the course. Hole #18 brings you back to where you start at #1 which is close to a nearby playground and a large pavilion. The latter is a great space to have an outdoor cookout if you want to host a friends-&-family dics golf meet!

Mitch is one of my favorite places to play in the OKC metro area. No ticks or stickers to worry about. Good mix of open shots and technical wooded areas. Hardly ever crowded.

Clean park, lots of shade, plenty of people around to make you feel safe if you choose to play a round by yourself. Scenic and good fun.
