I was here yesterday to visit the beautiful plants and trees. Sad that you could not hike the trail anymore like it used to be. Otherwise the park was quiet in the morning and some clean areas and it was ok but the highlight was the cherry blossoms 🌸 and some plants and trees and that’s about it. Was beautiful before and now just the little area for Spring usually. I took these photos on my IPhone 11. Other than that the experience in the mornings was pleasant and quiet and the smell of the flowers was wonderful.

Perfect for walking or running and can take your four legged friend with you too (bring a leash). Start at the covered bridge and then head down towards the river. Lots of trees and activity all around. This place is conveniently located right out my back door. There is a playground area if you prefer to bring the kids and let them run and play. Lets remember to keep it clean. Leave no trace. Zero footprints. Leave it better than you found it.

Not worth the visit. I lived here 20 years ago and I would have highly recommended it for a nice stroll through the trails after the covered bridge. Those trails are now blocked 🚫 off. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else where you can actually enjoy the outdoors. This town is sinking.

Absolutely beautiful park. It sucks that you can't go on the trails anymore though. Also the park needs redone very bad. The bark dust is like non-existent. This end of this line to the ground is like 4 ft if the kid comes flying off that they could really get hurt, looks like a lawsuit or I hate to say it but a child death waiting to happen. Stayton definitely needs to get the playground fixed asap I won't be letting my kids play on the playground until it is fixed

Chose Pioneer Park for senior photos for a friend. The lighting there is perfect and there are lots of cool, unique places for portraits. The park itself is extremely clean, and has a great layout in regards to making use of the space they have. There's a longer trail you can walk that is roughly a mile there and back which ends at the dam, as well. You feel safe at this park, it's a comforting environment.
