Fantastic little course very flat and playable. When they finish the improvements it's going to be really great

Great for beginners and intermediate players. The holes are laid out well and have a great mix of hole placements. A nice variety of open fields, woods, and a pond to navigate. Concrete tee pads are great as well. Looking forward to seeing a full 18 put in.

Edit 8 May 2021: All holes have concrete tee pads. They're marked with hand-drawn maps and distance figures! I played this course three times through today. It looks so great. Felt more open than it did in 2019. Original review: As of 6 July 2019, Crooked Creek Lake Disc Golf Course remains under construction. All DisCatcher baskets are in place, but only one of the nine holes (#3, I believe) has concrete tee pads. Despite the construction, the course is playable and enjoyable. The first tee is just to the west of the Justice Pavilion parking area driveways. The tees are marked with yellow wood stakes and pink flags. It appears that generally, the pink flags mark the right side of the tee box, and the stake marks the left side, though this is not always the case. This helps to orient you, because you cannot always see the basket from the tee. The basket you see closest to the parking area is the practice basket, but hole 1's basket is close to the Justice Pavilion. It's a professionally designed course, and fairly easy to play with little elevation change.

This is a good course. It's in an Army Corps park that apparently as a dam somewhere though I didn't go check that out. It's a very flat course for PA golf that plays over a pond and through some pine before opening up in the middle of the course for a few fairway holes. That 2nd hole is the signature with a small pond and elevated basket. Drives that think they are safe playing left fade end up with another challenging shot to save par. It's mostly midrange golf but a few open holes that need a nice pull on the drive. They made really nice use of basket positions. 9 holes never get as high as rating from me when evaluating courses. This has a few holes I wasn't blown away. One or two didn't have a line that stands out for your drive, though I'm sure the locals have one they know. It is a nice park on great land and a fun course, just not perfect.

Cool 9 hole course, some wooded shots, 1 water obstacle, plays back n forth across park roads, could use better signage and tee markers. Overall fun DG course in a huge park that needed it.
