Have played this course a couple times recently and must say I really like the layout. The front nine is a bit more challenging than the back (original 9 holes) nine but all-in-all a fun course to play.

This excellent disc golf course is located on a seemingly mothballed naval military base - although I’m told it’s still active - and you can play without passing any type of entrance scrutiny. There are many bomber shots with guardians scattered about and some wooded shots mixed in, too, making this course challenging and fun. There is no water but some 8-foot-high fences for the ballparks. Congrats to anyone who pars 18, which ate my lunch. Shot two over from the longs. Remember to remember that this is federal property, so be cool. Update 10.15.2024. The Navy requests this course be removed from UDisc because civilians are no longer welcome. The course falls under the fitness department, and the brass officially won’t allow civilians to play. There are rumors that efforts are being made to reclassify disc golf from fitness to recreational, which reclassification would provide civilians with an option to pass a background check and obtain a pass. For now, buddy up with a friend with military ID to avoid being tossed off the property.

One of the best courses in the Charleston area. Has an excellent variety of distance and challenge.

I really want to love this course but as of writing, it's not in the best shape. To start with, hole 1 is non existent...it seems to be buried in the woods surrounded by water. To remedy this, you have to tee off from the # 2 tee box. No big deal...however there aren't clear signs to the next hole and I found myself walking in circles. Try U-Disc you say, been there done that, it didn't help. On the plus side, the course is well laid out and offers a variety of different holes. The course is challenging and honestly, once you get past the first 4 or 5 holes, it really opens up and is a great course. If I were a first timer, I would go with someone that knows the layout or be prepared to walk in circles. Other than that I believe everyone who enjoys disc golf should give it a shot. Pun intended.

Great course with wooded and open baskets. Arguably the best course in Charleston.
