Unassumingly cool park. It's not huge, but definitely large enough to enjoy a nice walk out in nature among the woods and marshes. Wildlife everywhere. Birds nesting deep in the marsh grasses. You can hear them calling out to each other, sometimes even just a few feet away from you, but you can't see them. What you can see are the thousands upon thousands of teeny tiny marsh crabs skittering about everywhere. Very cool, if not slightly unsettling! The observation tower provides a beautiful view, although it seemed a tad wobbly. Might want to look into that! Facilities seemed nice. There were fishing docks, picnic pavilions for rent, etc. We loved their old 70s logo. Almost wanted to buy a shirt!

BRING BUG SPRAY!!! Great spot for a walk in the outdoors. It’s nice to have a place IN MT PLEASANT that truly feels like an escape. There are paved paths and more trail-like paths. The girls had a great time on the playground and the staff was helpful when we were lost. Love the county parks. $2 per entry unless a child is under 2 (free) Or free entry with the Parks Gold Pass Cannot emphasize bug spray enough 🦟

Great park, not crowded at all. The squirrels at the park will be curious if you pull out food. Well maintained, clean, $2 admission. Alot larger than I expected when google playgrounds near me lol. It has a 5 and under playground with the larger playground.

A fantastic place to bring kids. Lots of trails, playgrounds and so much nature all around you. We loved our paddleboat excursion - excellent rental rates also and very friendly and helpful employees.

$2 per person. Worth it. A great walk, especially if you want long paved and dirt trail options. Some long boardwalks. Ample parking, restrooms, trash cans. Dog friendly.
