One of the best parks in Aberdeen. Wide open, lots of shade and picnic tables, great variety of playground equipment for all ages. There are baby swings and regular swings, a sand box with digging toys, a big playset, a small playset, a skate park, a camping area, bathrooms, and lots of open space. It's near a main road and walking path.

It is a clean park. Also has many trees to enjoy their shade.

Frisbee golf, tennis, camping, public restrooms, playground equipment, picnic tables, green grass and excellent bug band music on Thursdays in the Summer.

We love this park! Location is great for us, and I really appreciate that there is little kid play equipment along with the big kid stuff. Plenty of swings and there are a few shelters around. They also have frisbee golf. The only downside I can think of is that if it's a windy day, there really isn't anything to protect you from the gusts - but it is South Dakota, what can you expect.

Yellow jackets are prevalent this time of year (Mid September). Nobody's fault but ours. The wasps smelled the food and were drawn to it. My granddaughter got stung. Regardless, it was a nice day to be outside and the kids had fun on the playground equipment.
