This was a treat. I hadn't been here in a few years and wanted to do something cost effective for all my children grandchildren, nieces and nephews I was traveling with that day. We went to the discount store where I purchased two boxes of cereal, drinks and chips. I then bought cups of ice for everyone and we arrived at the park for some water fun. The walk was ok once we found a close as we could get spot to park. We had so much fun. I watched them from the bench that was in a nice shaded area we a view of all three splash pads that were running. We finished up with the water and headed over to the playground where they ran until they were all dried up. I sat under a party shed. It was actually the same one I was under for the party about 5 years prior. It was a good day. I will be back soon. Maybe to watch a ball game next time.

Our grandson enjoys going. Splash pad is great but needs to be cleaned watch for a few slippery areas. We loved playing on the dolphin, rocks and alligator and really hate that they were replaced bars not really for kids, in my opinion hope they will bring them, at least they don't get hurt on the soft material they were made of. Overall great place.

Very nice park with designated dog areas (which is why we visited) and plenty of wide open spaces to take advantage of as well. Quite the complex it seems for families with swings/ playgrounds, water areas, benches and tables under shade trees, and a nice perimeter walking/biking path. They also have a designated course for disc golf. Endless amounts of parking spread throughout whatever area of the park you're using. And of course, tons of super nice and well-kept baseball fields. I wish I would have had these when I was a kid. Mine were comprised of dirt and weeds... It was chilly the last few times I was there, but still wonderful times were had.

Absolutely love it. There's something there for everyone. You can walk, run, play. You have options and the whole family can come and decide. There are also ball fields concession stands, a dog park and volleyball set up...this park is amazing and I'm grateful to have stumbled across it.

Tyger River is such a little hidden gem. There are multiple places to start your hike and you can close the short or longer hike. The longer hike starts in the woods and follows along the river. Both the long and the short hikes end with the mill ruins and the waterfall. Being a picnic and enjoy the river. Do watch for snakes on the rocks by the river.
