Nice, well maintained trail and nature preserve. Paved throughout, with wooden bridges, mostly flat walk. Lots of little overlooks to Candies Creek, a few benches for sitting. Public restrooms, found in the front parking lot, are clean. Tons of frisbee golf courses. Free. When you come into the parking lot, on the right there’s a pollinator garden for bees with local wildflowers. Really awesome to see. Could use more trash bins for dog waste and benches for the elderly. Not lit at all, so park closed at sundown. I also don’t see any safety call boxes or anything like that, which maybe crime here is so low that’s not even a thought. One improvement I’d like to see is a community garden or more local trees planted that produce fruit. There’s so much space here and we could be growing community crops. Just a suggestion. ***my dog has an e-collar on at all times and is *very* well, professionally trained so I let her run in the open fields.

Beautiful fall 🍁 colors. The trail was clean and safe.

The place has really transformed over the years, and it’s wonderful to see how much it has grown since my childhood. It brings back fond memories. However, I do want to give a heads-up: be careful where you step! Some dog owners around here can be quite lazy, leaving their pets' messes on the walkway. It’s a shame because it detracts from the beauty of the area. Enjoy your time here, but keep your eyes peeled!

Nice park with a stream that follows the path. Going after it rain isn’t a great idea since there are lots of puddles and the sidewalk is usually flooded. However, it is a beautiful and scenic park. Lots of bridges to walk along over the ponds.

My favorite place to get out and walk at instead of going to the gym. ❣️ I love how peaceful it is and I love that I rarely run into anyone because how big it is 😂 kinda bummed about the disc golf course going in my favorite places......so probably won't be there as much when it's there. So just enjoying it while I can. Ive walked here for YEARS. Theres so many other spots here for disc golf so idk why they're putting it in the best walking spots so I have to watch for flying discs and more foot traffic after never having to worry about that before 😭
