Golf cart, how about an ATV to traverse the "fairways." There's nothing "fair" about them. The greens are poorly maintained, and several were bumpy, with one of them having a 2' pothole. Way overpriced for the poor quality of course, which is a shame because it has very pretty scenery. The course has tremendous potential. However, in its current condition, I don't recommend paying to play here. These pictures are from hole #5. We could barely find our ball amidst the thick crap grass in the middle of the fairway. I hope that someone can turn this around because it's in a great location and can easily compete with all the good courses in the area of it was in good condition.

Course is in great shape! Greens rolling smooth and holding good shots. It’s amazing how great everything looked considering we’re almost in January. Also, very cool to be able to tee it up at 5 pm and finish under the lights. Great experience!

Never made it out to course. Today I wanted to spend a day with me and me only. Been working eight weeks straight, don't want to be around anyone. Pro shop says they don't send singles out and that they would pair me up with someone. I explained that I didn't want to be paired and I would be willing to pay for TWO green fees if they don't send anyone out with me. They still wouldn't do it. So, here I come Moody Gardens. They were willing to accommodate me.

This course is ridiculous. First of all, the pros’ and manager take this course way too seriously. The rules in place for “can’t play with 6 people” (even though we play best ball and pace of play is sub 4 hours for 18 holes) is asinine. The course itself is unbelievably horrendous. The fairways have more bumps and holes than car after a hail storm. The tee boxes look like litter boxes. And they try to make up for it by actually having decent greens. This course is way too expensive and way too shitty to be so unprofessional and uptight. Will never play here again.

I played this course a lot when I was in middle school. Decided I would take my little one out for a day out with me and her dad to get some practice in. (I did this every weekend with my parents growing up) The course was very busy which I completely understand and agreed she would hit her driver and then pick up and play either the next shot where my ball laid or just go to the green to keep the pace up of the game. We called ahead and had a tee time of 2:30 and we got there around 1:40. We went inside and paid and not even 15 minutes later we were being yelled at by the golf pro to go and tee off. He never said he adjusted our tee time. He came out of the shop 2 times to yell at us…I’m sorry that we had to get our drinks and go to the bathroom… there is no reason to scream and if you want us to hurry or move up our tee time then let us know without the attitude. Had a great round of golf and talked to the people playing behind us at the end and they agreed how rude the golf pro was and unprofessional he was. I’m not sure if it’s because we had my daughter (8 year old) with us or what made him treat us the way he did. In all my years of playing golf and I grew up on a golf course… I have never felt so belittled and as if we were doing something wrong. Being courteous goes a long way.
