The course is in bad shape, and most of the greens are dried up. Also, the fairways are bad, but not as bad as the greens. FOLLOW UP: The course is not in such a bad shape anymore (as of 10/18/24).The greens are still not great, but the fairways have definitely been improved on. This golf course is definitely getting better and I'm glad to see it!!!

Good course for all kinds of players! Yellow/gold balls are somewhat difficult to see in the summer. Awesome electric carts! Over all nice facilities! Keep up the good work! Nice and friendly staff that are willing to help!

Their website gives minimal information. I set up a tee time and drove from Harlingen to find out there is a car show on the course. The number provided no one answers. Horrible for business. I will definitely never try this course.

Ebony is a decent, beginner-friendly course. It has 9-holes that are played twice. The only major hazards are the canal that runs through the course and adjacent road along hole #2. The fairways are subpar and very dry throughout. However, the greens have improved drastically over the past year. For $12 walking and $20 (maybe more now) with cart, it’s a cheap round, which is the primary reason I continue to play here. It’s also less desirable compared to Los Lagos, which means there are almost always favorable tee times available. All in all, worth it at this price.

Didn't play golf. Went to go see the Viet Nam War Memorial. Kind of the city of Edinburg and Ebony Golf course to host this Memorial.
