Huge park with several baseball diamonds, soccer pitches, basketball courts, huge pavilions, swings, slides, jungle Jim’s, and splash pad. They also have a walking or jogging paths close by. Very well maintained and scenic. A great place for all to enjoy or relax. They have several benches and picnic tables also. Everything was very well maintained.

My son and I tried out a lot of local parks (and there are a lot) near McAllen, but we always find ourselves coming back to this park. Because of this, we treat it as our sacred place for walking. We usually give each other a fist bump before heading our separate ways for an hour to experience the wonder of the park. The staff keep this place in pristine condition and I usually bring 2 Ziploc bags full of bird seed to feed the local birds even in the hot summer.

It's a great place to spend the entire afternoon with the family and friends. There are barbecue pits and tables to have a carnesazo. There are playgrounds for different ages kids , also thera are a couple of small lakes to fishing. I definitely recommend you visit this park.

4 playgrounds for different ages. In general they are good but some need maintenance: missing 1/2 swing, 1/2 zip line and other in bad shape. Positive point: they have one of the most highest slide of the Valle. There is also a water park. Half of the area smells bad because of a sewer… it’s not a pond…

This park has a little bit of everything. There are biking and jogging trails. Duck ponds, which my kid loves. I have seen people fishing the ponds as well. There is a separate trail that seems to favor bird watching. There is a dog park near the center of the park. The large jogging trail has several calisthenic stations. There are several shaded picnic tables with BBQ grills. Over all this is a nice place to bring the family and pets for a nice time outdoors.
