Wasn't crowded on the Sat I went around 3 pm. 6 benches at splash pad, some with shade coverage. Spacious. Clean. Free and entertaining for littles. I would assume that kids up to 10 would enjoy. Has buckets that dump water, circle/ring "tunnel" lots of floor fountains that spray high and low. Pretend Fire hydrant has spay spouts. Dry playground looked good, across from splash pad. Fence around the area but has openings for dry playground area and the other opening is for the walking trail.Has decent size restrooms but I didn't go in.

Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen at park! Beautiful splash pad. Named for one of our regions best recognized military heroes.

I love it here. I came to bring my kids and they loved it so much that no one wanted to leave. Y'all already know how kids get when they don't want to leave. It was very entertaining and there's a park next to it as well. So as soon as they finish playing in the water they can go play in the park.

Had such a wonderful time here with my family. We've been to a few splash pads here the in RGV and this one is at the top or list. If you're looking for a place to cool off and have fun with the family, look no further.
