A privately-owned disc golf course that feels like a vacation destination. I’ve been throwing at SVCC for a little over a year now and I’ve greatly benefited from the friendships and activities (leagues, tournaments) SVCC offers. The course is truly a unique Texas course with some engaging layouts (forward and reverse). It’s clean, family friendly, easy to navigate, spacious and out in the beautiful area of Lorena. The Pro Shop is well stocked and overseen by friendly, helpful staff. They even have an older dog named Zeus who loves to hang around and meet people. If you’re wondering where your next disc golf stop should be, look no further. Southern View Classic Course has everything a disc golfer needs for a great time.

Was in Waco for the day and decided to drive out and check the place out. Unfortunately couldn’t play their courses but they looked sick! Did some shopping in their shop and was welcomed by the friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered. They were thrilled to have me in and made me feel very welcomed. Disc selection was great and ended up picking up a few discs. It was just an awesome environment and everyone was all smiles. Since then I’ve ordered a few off their website and shipping is always fast. Owner and employees were awesome and super helpful, not to mention the sweetest pup roaming around. 10/10, would recommend to anyone and will always make an effort to stop by when in the area.

This place is amazing. It has has a great course that is fun for people of all skill levels and a nicely stocked course shop where you can find new or used discs and plenty of accessories. The staff are so welcoming and helpful too. Definitely will be coming back to play again. M. Capehart

This is a private course and is one of my favorites! I had to buy a membership immediately, because I knew I was going to be playing often. Great course design and an awesome proshop!

Private disc golf course which charges a $3 fee per player. Has a shop with inconsistent hours. Course operator requests that tee times be scheduled. Has some interesting and fun layouts, but some holes don't make any sense, particularly one towards the very back of the property. There is little to no signage, the course is confusing, and the only way to know which basket is which is by looking at the number on the basket. Some concrete tee pads have the hole number sprayed on them but most do not, making it difficult to know which pad belongs to which basket, and where the corresponding basket is located. A map of the course is available only on an app. Without having access to the map you could find yourself wandering around the course trying to figure out where to go next. The plot of land the course sits on is narrow and surrounded by barbed wire fence. There is a good chance that a thrown disc could go over these fences and on to other private property. Some makeshift metal ladders are distributed up and down the fence line which allows a player to climb over and retrieve their disc. The course has potential, but still needs a lot of development.
