This park used to be a best kept gem. I’d travel from Haltom City to here as an escape from crappier smaller parks. An ideal place to walk a dog. Particularly since traffic wasn’t too bad and this place was empty besides the occasional scooter kids on week days. I haven’t been here since September.. It’s December now, a Saturday which is unusual for us and there’s frisbee golf that popped up all over the greenery where we used to walk on the grass and natural flowers. I thought this space was supposed to be preserved - or that’s what it used to be. We used to be able to put a blanket down and enjoy the sunset and get really great photos out here.. What used to be lush grass areas is filled with dog feces. We used to see rabbits and wildlife and lots of flowers. Now it’s full of biking kids, middle aged men hauling their frisbee golf equipment, suspicious teens hiding out behind the stairs, and more mud and ant piles than ever before. This place is going downhill. Let’s hope it’s just the winter crowd. Bummer.

Good park work a fun 9 hole disc golf course! Great for all levels of play and the layout is wonderful, can pay all 9 holes pretty quickly. Some open and some trees, elevation and property was utilized well. Would be great to see 9 more or a separate 18 hole course go in the woods here.

Nice trails. 2 miles paved around outside. Lots of dirt paths in the forest. Needs more benches and only one set of restrooms about 1 mile back are open.

Biker here. Love the hills. The one near the adventure park is a workout. Lots of shade and there are rabbits running through the woods. The trail itself is between 1.5 to 2 miles if you ride the entire loop.

Good park, sidewalks in good repair. My dog's only complaint is that when we cross the grass he sometimes gets stickers in his paws.
