It is a nature preserve too? Not a logical thing to do…. Putting a DG course in a nature preserve that is grassland that should not be disturbed? It was very frustrating to me, since they can only mow a pathway that is only for walking from the tee surface to the hole. The fairway was only 3 feet wide after the first hole and was progressively worse after the second hole. I was spending too much time looking for my discs, my feet and legs got soaked since it was turning into wetlands and eventually lost a disc. I gave up after the 4th hole. I was feeling guilty for disturbing the grassy area while searching for my discs. Give it up and put those great baskets in a different location. That is my suggestion. In after thought, I decided that the best strategy for this course, should you choose to play there, would be to shoot to the nearest tree, so you can locate your disc after each throw!

Freshly mowed. Hole maps are easy to follow. Tees need some work. Ground still a little soft from recent rain, but not sloppy. Should dry out soon.

There's nothing necessarily wrong with this course, but It's very basic. Great for a beginner or practice as will be almost impossible to lose a disc here. On course one there is water, but It's behind a lot of trees and you'd really have to slice really hard and be very unlucky to get past the trees. I rated it two primarily because like I said It's just a big open field more or less and pretty basic. I also went during the winter months so everything was pretty much colorless brown and dead, so that also affected this review. In the summer time I'm sure it looks a lot better.

Yikes! The course could be very nice but the whole thing was overgrown with weeds at my visit. I'm talking well above knee height for large stretches. Wish I had taken pics. I tried to play for a few baskets anyway, but when I found my disc in the midst of a patch of poison ivy I gave up and went home.

Park isn't maintained currently, uncut grass and gated off for the time.
