New course on the NW side of Houston. Beginning holes are open including a water cross on hole 3. Triple mando 7th hole is a cool hole. Wooded section, as mentioned by the other review, has very limited lines at the moment. I am a lefty so I had fairly decent lines but I can see issues for a right-handed, backhand (RHBH) player. Can only see this course get better with more foot traffic. The tee pad signs are placed in the perfect location to not affect most throws off the tee pad, so kudos to the guy who did that. Tips I can give for the course at the current moment are: Wear long pants/sleeves. The thorns in the wooded section are no joke and will get you good. I escaped unscathed but can't say that about the rest of my group. Had to render first aid twice. The wide open holes (especially 4-6) the ground is still bumpy from being freshly cleared and includes pointy leftover tree/bush stumps that can puncture the soles of shoes. There are not many but be cognizant and use the walking path if needed.

Pretty solid 18 hole course. It mixes different elements into the overall play. From water hazards to tree navigation, it has a great variety to offer. I’ll be playing this course often.

Fun course with future potential to further dial in some of the wooded holes. The wooded section has a few holes that will leave you scratching your head to find a line. The middle of the fairways have a robust amount of guardian trees. A couple of times, I caught myself looking over brush to blindly get down the fairway. Currently as of now 10/16/23, about 4 wooded holes have less than desired lines to be thrown. Granted the course just opened, I heard a rumor that they will remove future trees that are overly hit. I personally believe give or take around 20 trees (6” diameter) would be a good start. The open holes are great and the gravel path is a good touch. Though the gravel path is still settling, I can only imagine future rain and foot traffic will inevitably require path maintenance. Please respect the Church by not littering and keep the course beautiful. Overall it’s a great course once you know where the blind baskets reside. I’m looking forward to the future adjustments and the plenty of rounds to be enjoyed. God Bless!

Best new course in Houston. Seats, trash cans, restrooms. All type of shots needed.
