I was out and about yet again in the last three weeks and decided to have a nice walk around Weeks Park, specifically the South Weeks Park Pond area. I should note that Weeks Park is quite large compared to other parks in the area and is thus ideal for family outings at the various playgrounds scattered across the walk way, the Champions Course at Weeks Park for golf, and the Weeks Park Tennis Court, and fishing. It can also be used to host various musicals and other outside events. I will say that it is the more up to date park with the improvements to the playgrounds and sidewalks.

Whoa not only is the park maintained but they have professional armored combat of all ages, and teachers on Sundays with loner armor to those interested, by the fire department! So much fun!

Nice place! Gravel parking lot, lots of covered seating, big field, plenty of trees for shade, outdoor bathrooms, a playground, and basketball court.
