This is a very large park and I've still got more of it to explore. This was my first time going to the park. I gave it three stars because I went to two pieces of it one part of which I would have given 2 stars and another part where I would have given it 4 stars. I drove between the sections of the park I visited (that is how expansive the park is). First, I went to the north part of the park to see the playground there. There clearly has once been a play structure, but all that was left were metal pillars, some monkey bars, and a lone tire swing. We were so disappointed. There was no signage about the state of the playground and what was happening or going to happen with it. There were many people walking their dogs on the trails that went through the trees which surrounded the playground. I bet it is a lovely place to walk, especially with all the fall colors right now. Second, I went to the south side of the park. There was a very large pavilion near the parking lot there. I could see nearby disc golf goals and several people playing disc golf. There were two sand volleyball courts (connected) with one net. There was a play structure here and some climbing equipment. The kids were happy, especially after the disappointing lack of a structure up north. This was a smaller play structure than what had been taken out at the other part based on the leftover pillars. There were no benches or trees/shade around the play structure. There were no swings. This was a better playground for younger kids rather than older kids.

This is a fun course for disk golfing. The tees are well marked (although some people set up some false holes). They have the ability to set the baskets in different location, so you might get a different experience every time you go. Most of the holes are in the wooded area which makes it interesting. I only give this place 4 🌟 because lots of the grass is dead, and they had toppled trees lying around. Will definitely be returning again!

I just tried disc golfing for the first time ever on yesterday. I'd rate the sport 15/10. This is the only course I've ever been to, but it is VERY fun. The course itself seems to be under construction, so it may not be at its peak right now. Nevertheless, very clean and large. I believe there are 18 holes total, each with par 3. The locals are VERY nice and always helpful. When one of our discs got stuck in a tree with thick brush, a stranger climbed the tree and retrieved it for us. I think the people make the sport great, but it is fun by itself too. I did lose a disc in the creek, I was very sad, but that's more telling of my skills as a newbie. My short term goals involve avoiding the river, long term goals involve birdies and aces. Yall have fun out there!

Came to do some Disc Golfing. Well maintained landscaping. It is under construction, but still very much playable. I wish they would mark the way to the next tee better, but it is still a beautiful course. We only lost one disc in the river, so be careful, don't go after it with spring runoff water in the river.

One of the top places to engage in disc golf. Summer evenings and days in the fall will have dozens of frolfers traversing the park. 18+ holes, great for novices and veterans alike.
