This is an absolute must play course. Incredible layout that forces you to throw all sorts of angles. Iconic James Conrad throw in plaque on 18. Bummed I'm not closer. I'd love to play this course once a week!

The Fort is by-far my favorite disc golf course I have been to in the four states I’ve played in so far. There is a reason The Fort hosted the 2021 worlds, and the landscape plays a major role in that. There is a pond, river, trees, cliffs to throw from, elevated holes, and creativity at every hole from the local sponsors tasked with keeping the area pristine. I love that most of it is shaded, so that you can enjoy all summer long without feeling like you’re going to get heatstroke. There is camping available and a dog park nearby, so early-morning starts are a breeze. My pup and I are exhausted after a day playing and exploring, and nothing cools you off better than stopping along the river for lunch and a splash. All of the people I have encountered have been amazing and everyone mostly keeps to themselves. There are bathrooms by the parking lot, as well as a pro shop to get new or used discs, or to find one you may have lost the day before. The sun has come up since writing this, so it looks like I’ll be heading there for the day.

We loved this course. This was one of our destinations on our going west trip. Enjoyed it so much we stayed nearby an extra night to play 18 holes again. We will be back. Site of 2021 World championship for disc golf. Stop if you are going by and play #17 gold tee.

Lost my disc on the first hole. Fished it out successfully on the second. Did not throw over the water ever again but had a blast.
