SCERA Park Disk Golf Course in Orem, Utah, is a delightful destination for disc golf enthusiasts of all skill levels. Nestled within the lush SCERA Park, this course offers a mix of technical and open fairways, making it an engaging and enjoyable experience for both beginners and seasoned players. The course features 9holes that wind through the park's well-maintained landscape. Players will appreciate the variety of obstacles, including mature trees and slight elevation changes, which add a level of challenge without being overly daunting. The baskets are in good condition, and the tee pads are clearly marked, ensuring a smooth flow from hole to hole. One of the standout aspects of SCERA Park Disk Golf Course is its picturesque setting. The park itself is beautifully manicured, with plenty of shade provided by the large trees scattered throughout. It’s not uncommon to see families picnicking and children playing nearby, adding to the friendly and community-oriented atmosphere. Additionally, the park offers other amenities such as playgrounds, pavilions, and walking trails, making it a great spot for a full day of outdoor activities. Parking is ample and conveniently located near the first hole, which is always a plus. The course is also free to play, which is a fantastic bonus for regular visitors. However, it can get crowded during peak times, especially on weekends, so arriving early or playing on weekdays can help avoid the rush. Overall, SCERA Park Disk Golf Course is a well-rounded and enjoyable course that offers a great mix of challenges and scenic beauty. Whether you're a local or just visiting Orem, it’s definitely worth a visit for a fun and relaxing round of disc golf.

I have always enjoyed playing Disc Golf at Scera. The holes are all reachable in par, and some are easily birdies. You might even get an Ace! One complaint is that with only 9 holes, people have to get creative for 18 unique holes. That creates a lot of cross-traffic which can delay your game. Also, the tee pads are too short, which leads to unstable footing for long run-ups. And water drainage sucks on several holes. On the positive side, you will never lose a disc here. The course is well-maintained. And the location is fantastic.
