Super fun park to take your kids to if they like feeding ducks like mine do. They have a great stream and an awesome pond. The wood walkway around the pond is very well done. After feeding some hungry ducks, we played on the slides and swings and explored a bit. The skate park that used to be swimming pools when I was a kid is fun to stop and watch the skaters do their tricks. I had heard the homeless population in the park can be intimidating for some but we had no problems at all.

Cracking down on dogs in the fields in any season, was told it's due to the mud strips which clearly exist in the soccer fields used year round. This is my closest walk-able park. This park is no longer my park and I won't be back. May soccer reign year-long, farewell to the community.

Chill park with volleyball nets and picnic tables with water fountain. It's not big compared to other parks nearby (ex. Sugarhouse) but has a playground, so you will see some kids as well. There's a small pond with ducks. I saw a couple homeless near the park though, so I wouldn't say this is the safest place to be by yourself at night.

We had a family gathering at this park on a Sunday evening. We appreciated using the tables under the covered pavilion. At 5:00 on a Sunday the pickleball courts were packed, but it looked like you could rotate in, in a reasonable amount of time. The only complaint would be that some of the park attendees were sketchy, riding motorcycles fast straight through the grass where kids were playing. I rated the park slightly lower because it is in More run down area and I don’t know if I would feel safe coming here with little kiddos without my husband accompanying me.

Great place to take an after lunch walk. Plenty of ducks, squirrels and space. There are benches, sadly they've got the bars to remind homeless people the reputation of the park is more important then the small comfort of not sleeping on the ground. Walked around I und the entire park, (there's even a special area for dogs) and passed several of the seemingly homeless folks who didn't bother us or cause any concern.
