Probably one of the best courses in southern Utah! It was a challenging course and was fun with all of the shrub to make your shots more accurate. There are nice stickers on the baskets to guide you to the next one, it’s easy to get lost so use a disc that’s very bright.

The holes around the actual park are great and challenging to move around trees. But this course also takes you out and down by the river and it is very easy to lose your discs, and if you still have them, it beats them UP! Our discs looked great and as soon as we did this course we have scratches and small chunks coming out everywhere. I recommend Mathis park, its easy but very fun and does wreck your discs.

Awesome place! Can get a little muddy at times but if it was dry out you shouldn't have a real bad time with slipping and falling. I think it had rained a day or two before we played and it the morning it wasn't that bad cause it was still pretty frozen however when it got a little warmer of course it started to thaw out but we still had a blast but I would prepare for that

Did not enjoy playing this course at all. Should have read recent reviews more carefully. The wash/desert is totally overgrown, lost discs are almost a guarantee unless you bring like 3 extra people who are only going to be spotters. Not too mention trying through that stuff to get your disc is going to tear you up. Fairways are non-existent due to the overgrown brush. Basket #6 is gone and has still not been replaced. Tee pads in rough/uneven shape with missing pavers. The few holes in the field are alright, and hole 2 and 3.

As others have said, there is a missing basket and a missing tee... both washed away by the river and will be replaced soon. Otherwise, a fun course that can be enjoyed by all skill levels. Best to use a spotter on a few holes or you will spend major time hunting your disc. Also, be careful on 16, 17, and 18 as the flight paths are extremely near small children playing or over a parking lot... but if you go on a Sunday morning, the park is empty and no problems. Fun course overall!
