Front 9 was beautiful but the holes were excessively long. The back 9 is just back and forth up and down a valley in the woods/mountains. Definitely recommend hiking experience and equipment for the back 9 and some stamina/walking shoes for the front 9. And if you don't have much distance on your throw it might not be as fun as it could be. For example, hole 3 is a ln 820ft par 4! Definitely plenty of room for improvement throughout the course

It's a Beast! As soon as you drive in, park in the lot to the left. You'll have to walk across the street and down a little ways to find Hole 1. Took me a little while to find it. There wasn't any good signage pointing the way. Half of it is through hilly woods, and the park is quite open around the lake. Careful once you pop out in the open, you are in some nesting sites. I got attacked by some birds. If you're looking for a challenge, think this is a good course, not for a beginner. They have an 820yd hole, #3.It's pretty scenic. Says you have to pay to get in, but when I went, the booth was closed up, so it was free. You might want to do a tick check afterwards.
