If you’re looking to play on a golf course with the worst greens possible. This is the place for you. All 28 when the putter is counted are pitted from disease. Putting on these greens would be like putting on the moon. The tees are just as bad. Unleveled and covered in divots. Then there are spots on all 3 courses that keep water year round. They might as well be considered as water hazards at this point. It’s time to replace the current superintendent of this golf course. He has had his chance. He doesn’t know what he’s doing. Year after year he loses the greens. Other golf courses are not having this type of issues. That’s because they have educated and experienced superintendents running them. #CityofHampton replace this superintendent.

I played here yesterday (Friday) and it was quite enjoyable; especially, for the price. The landscaping is nicer than some of the people in these reviews would leave you to believe. I will definitely be a returning as a regular. I had lunch afterwards and the fish and chips were great; although, the tartar sauce tasted of cinnamon. The only downsides (very little) is some of the staff are quite grumpy (you work at a golf course, dudes, enjoy it!) and some of the greens had quite a few divots that golfers didn't repair.

Worst golf course I've ever played at. Greens were in HORRIBLE condition (pictured), starter box is rude old man, and the first and second cut haven't been touched so if you're not right on the fairway, good luck finding your ball.

This course offers the very finest the sport has to offer in the world of golf. From the moment you enter the parking lot, you know this is going to be the experience of a lifetime. The staff is right there to greet you with open arms. They take care of everything. You go and have a sit down with your caddie for about 15 minutes and off to the range for a few warm up shots. Then off to the first tee. To describe the condition of this course. - well, there are no words. It is truly breathtaking. The groundskeeper needs a raise and so does his team. These folks really care about the condition of their course. After a great round, it’s up to the grill for beef tenderloin and some beers. This is the place to be!!

As someone that used to play this course a lot, it is absolutely unplayable. Look at the newest reviews and the pictures tell the story. It’s gotten so bad I refuse to play there anymore, and I see to bring quite a lot of friends with me because it’s a nice scenic course; or should be. Please Hampton, do something about this. It’s an eyesore, and I want this course to atleast be somewhat playable. I heard they finally cut the fringe, first cut but it’s made no difference. If you don’t find the fairway your ball is most likely going to either plugged in the ground and near impossible to find. Don’t waste your money, the woodlands and deer run are both comp in price and way better, both the quality of employees imo and the quality of the course. I have no further photos to add as the one under me showed what this course looks like
